Madonna and Charli xcx are joining forces on Danceteria Afterhours, a new version of Madonna’s Danceteria from her Confessions II era. The collaboration was announced ahead of its September 24 release through Warner Records, giving fans the first official track from the two artists together.
In a social media preview tied to the announcement, Madonna shared a short clip featuring both performers dancing and contributing vocals to the track. Limited-edition CD versions have also been made available for preorder as part of the release.
The collaboration follows months of public appearances and online exchanges between Madonna and Charli xcx. Charli has previously spoken about Madonna’s influence, making the pairing a notable crossover between two artists closely associated with dance-pop and club culture.
Danceteria Afterhours arrives as Madonna continues promoting Confessions II and expands the project with new material. The release also comes shortly before her scheduled appearance at the 2026 MTV Video Music Awards.
