Born In:  Mt. Airy, NC at the Mt. Airy Hospital & Grill.  My doc, I think, was Barney Fife - he dropped me.

Why Radio:  I'm not sure ... think it had something to do with being dropped on my head at an early age.

Favorite Part of Job:  Recess!

Ideal Vacation:  Forget it.  Sarah Michelle Gellar's not returning my calls.

Hobbies:  Movies, music and Sarah Michelle Gellar

Nickname:  I was born on the 4th of July, and my mother, heavily drugged at the time, thought that "Sparky" was a perfect nickname ... really.

Favorite Recording Artist:  The Beatles, Henry Mancini and Sarah McLachlan

Favorite Song:  Too many!  One is "Your Song" - Elton John.  I once said goodbye to a friend while on the air, and I played that song.  Composers sometimes say things so much better than mere mortals.

Favorite TV Show:  "West Wing", "The Dick Van Dyke Show". waaay too many more!

Favorite Movie:  "Casablanca", "The Haunting" ('63), "City of Angels", "A Hard Days Night", "Charade", "Singing In The Rain" ... lots more.

Favorite Food/Drink:  Not politically correct, but "char-grilled" anything.
